QuickLaunch 2.1 Copyright Oliver Frietsch 2001-2003 www.oliver-frietsch.de Portions Copyright Frederic Hemberger 2001 **************************************************************** WHAT IS IT? *********** With QuickLaunch, you can access your favourite programs, folders and files fast and easily via a tray menu or keyboard hotkeys. In contrast to many other tools on the net, QuickLaunch doesn't offer quick access to the desktop shortcuts, but manages an own list of shortcuts that can be edited comfortably with the included Shortcut Editor. Drag & Drop from Windows Explorer is as self-evident as freely movable dividers, shortcut list import and export and a double-hotkey alert system. The automatic integration into Windows' "Send To" menu completes QuickLaunch's feature offers. CREDITS ******* QuickLaunch was written by Oliver Frietsch. Portions of the code were contributed by Frederic Hemberger. Besides, QuickLaunch uses some 3rd-party components: - RX Library by Fedor Kozhevnikov, Igor Pavluk and Serge Korolev - TdfsSystemImageList by Brad Stowers - TAgOpenDialog and TAgSaveDialog by Agni Software Pvt. Ltd. Thanks to all of them! LICENSE ******* Please consider "License.txt" for licensing terms and conditions. USAGE ***** After installation, QuickLaunch can be automatically executed. You can control the program by right-clicking its symbol in the system tray. At first, you should create a shortcut list with the Shortcut Editor. The use of the editor should be self-explanatory. If you have any questions, feel free to use the feedback form provided on www.oliver-frietsch.de to submit your question. Once you have defined some shortcuts, you can execute them by left-clicking the tray icon and selecting a menu entry. If you are too lazy to move the mouse into the system tray, just press "Win + Q" on your keyboard to popup the shortcut menu right beside your mouse pointer. By the way: If QuickLaunch is already running and you try to launch a second instance, the first one will also display its menu at the current mouse position.
